On stepping into the restaurant, I was blown away by the beautiful outdoor setting, it looked nothing like anywhere else I’ve been. Honestly, once I stepped in I forgot where I was, not in the literal sense...I mean this couldn’t be Ibadan.
The place is set up to have an indoor and an outdoor section. Never got to see what the indoor setting was like but that was fine, I wasn’t going to sit indoor when the outdoor area was looking like a scene from one of those Bollywood movies where they were about to dance again, for the 30th time, and for 20minutes. It’s basically a garden area with well decorated patios basking in all sort of nature’s beauty. Even on a very sunny Saturday, outdoor still looked like the best decision. The only problem with eating outside in this case was the flies. Oh, how that annoyed me but it didn’t ruin my experience. We spent soooo long taking in the scenery before we finally settled down to have a look at the menu, we were spoilt for choice.
I went with mango passion cocktail. I’ve got sweet tooth so I always go for the sweetest cocktail on the menu. Quite a big glass and not one of those ones you get more ice than the drink. It was sweet just the way I liked it. My friends settled for a fresh apple drink and a mojito.
For food, we started with Hummus filled beef, served with pita bread. It was my first time trying hummus and I’ll definitely be having it again. It tickled my taste buds, it was smooth so rich and creamy, it went so well with the well spiced and seasoned beef. The starter was big enough for me and so my friends had to get their own sizable portions.
Next was my mixed grill (wasn’t much of a ‘mixed’ grill as I was only given lamb) but oh well, I also got an extra bowl of rice because I didn’t think it would be filling. I was so wrong. You should have seen my excitement when this was set down in front of me. I wasn’t initially sure if this was a big abacus or my meal (I must say here that I’m about 5’1, so anything looks like a masterpiece to me smh). It combined grilled lamb, pitta bread, dips, salad/vegetablessssss plus my extra side of rice. I really don’t eat vegetables but for some reason it went so well with this meal. I wouldn’t have ordered rice if I knew what the portion looked like. I love food and I couldn’t afford to waste it so I had it anyway. It went so well with the rest of the meal. By the time I was done stuffing my face, it was difficult to stand up, you almost had to roll me out of the restaurant.

The beautiful place is the perfect place for anything and everything, hanging out with friends, family, business meeting, a small engagement ceremony. Service was really good and also very friendly staff. It may seem slightly above the average price but you get value for money.
