Cuisine 'n' chops.
12 Oba Olagbegi Street, off Osuntokun Avenue, Old Bodija, Ibadan.
It's more of a backyard restaurant, there's almost an acre of land upfront for parking
Another Asian inspired restaurant that seemed to have started out as a catering business. From the name and menu description one would be expecting Asian artistry and lights sophistication but cuisine n chops made her place as simple as it could be.
It's a small place with a calm and neat setting. Menu provides mainly Chinese dishes with some Nigerian options also. The meal service was okay.
Settled for the Chinese fried rice with chicken in oyster sauce. For a simple dish, the sauce surpassed my expectations. It had marinated strips of chicken in a perfect blend of oyster sauce, pepper, wine vinegar and garlic. I came here with very little expectation of the place but it turned out to be very much enjoyable.

Cuisine n chops is quite tasty for a backyard restaurant. Very affordable meals where you get much more than what you're paying for. Although a bit small for larger gatherings, it can be ideal for a work lunch, eat out or you're just looking to try something different. They offer outdoor catering services too.
