No 9, Adekunle Fajuyi Way, Ikeja Lagos.
Parking lot is big enough
Ikeja isn’t even half bad. I don’t know but it seems like when anyone talks about Lagos it’s mostly lekki, Ikoyi, Victoria island or some fancy place on the island. It’s a pretty decent place with great eat out spots. Happened to be in Ikeja for some meeting and so I decided to check out bungalow.
The environment is pretty decent, nothing extra...but wait it gets better.
There’s an outdoor bar with drinks from both extremes. There is an obvious attempt to attain some sort of green life but I’m not even judging. Calm down.

I like the ambience that welcomes you as you push through the door. It’s a reasonably large place with no typical shape to describe the dining arrangement. A lot of tables! Massive screens! Mellow music playing in the background too. Even though the fine architecture and lighting gives it a much more sophistication for an homey feel, the waiters try to make you feel very much at home. Really commendable meal service from bungalow. The waiters here literally wait on you, for all intents and purposes.

The menu is electronically displayed on an iPad, which is something I don’t see that often. The menu schematics and arrangements makes it even more difficult to decide on what to eat. The menu displays continental, Mexican, Japanese and Nigerian dishes.

After much perusing, I finally settled for the Chicken fajitas with a banana split. This option allows you to roll your own tortilla with a filling of your choice, on a sizzling hot platter. The marinated chicken strips comes with salsa, guacamole and Mexican cheese. There’s a side dish option of either fried rice or jollof rice.
To be safe, I’m always trying to pick meals that allow little or no room for any regret. I mean what can go wrong with marinated bbq chicken strips rolled in tortillas ?
The banana split came half way through my meal. I think it looked better in real life than on the iPad. Enjoyed every bit of it.

Bungalow is a fascinating place to be. Almost everything here has some sort of fascination. They boast of a wide variety of dishes spanning across continents. You can almost do anything here, from dates, hang outs or even mini parties/get together. Top notch meal service too.
